Jennifer spent the Summer of 1999 working on the knot simulation software. She produced approximately 2000 lines of C++ code and spent many hours installing and troubleshooting relevant software packages on various systems. The software was devloped on Mac OSX G4s, SGI Indigos, and Pentium-based Linux machines.
