KView: A Knot Viewing Utility

A screenshot of the knot viewer.  KView is written in Java using the Java3D extensions and will run on any platform that support Java and Java3d.
The KView software is an interactive polygonal knot viewer.  It can be run on any platform that supports Java 1.2 and the Java3D extension (most platforms now support these libraries).  Although the software is meant primarily for displaying/visualizing polygonal knots, there is a also a knot minimizer function that morphs the knot into an "optimal" configuration.

The software may be downloaded in the form of a java archive file (KViewer.jar).  The file should be extracted in it's own directory and the viewer may then be run by executing the "GKInterface" class as shown below.

C:\java GKInterface

Note that on Windows machines you must hold down the control key while manipulating the mouse in order to use the zoom in on the knot.
